Kennedy didn't help things a bit, that is true... But don't discount George W. Boooosh's role. Booosh had every reason in the world to slam those borders shut the day after 9/11, but he refused to do it! Booosh didn't give a rip if millions of illegals were coming across the border yearly (or if thousands of terrorists were coming across with them)... As a matter of fact, Booosh wanted to leave the borders wide open so his rich pals would have access to all that cheap labor flowing into the US. It didn't matter to him if there were terrorists among them bent on destroying America.

I voted for Bush in 2000 over Pat Buchanan because I knew Bush had a better chance, and because I thought he was just as opposed to illegal immigration as Buchanan.... BIG MISTAKE!
