Hello, my name is Aretha Rambo at the time my name was Aretha Green I was in a homeless suituation in which I could not find shelter for me and my two daughters. I went to the safest place I could think of at the time for me and my daughters to get out of the cold and find some help. That was Mercy Scripps Hospital in San Diego, CA. One of the staff asked me why was we setting in the waiting area and I told him because I could not find shelter for me and my two daughters. I recently came to San Diego and we could not find a shelter I called the Police and they could not help. I was asked how did I become homeless I told the staff person about the the domestic violence that I suffered and that I just had recently given birth November 19 2004 to a still born baby girl. The staff Person said he would help us and that we should speak with a social worker. Me and my oldest daughter told the Police about the abuse my ex Melvin Carlos Molina put us through. The next morning I was told that I was going to have to be a patient so that I can get help from a social worker at the hospital. I told the nurse that I had not had my 6 week check up after the birth of my last child. I signed papers in which I believed that I was going to have a 6 week check up. Shortly I was told that they could not believe that my ex- Melvin Molina did such things and that they called CPS and I was being admitting into the mental ward. I had taken a drug test in which no drugs or alcohol was founded in my system. I was placed in the mental ward without my consent. When the CPS Worker Mark Hood came out the nurse told him that I willing requested to be placed in the mental ward and I volunteer and signed the forms to be mentally availuated by Mercy Scripps Mental Ward. Which was not the cast. I called a 800 number reporting the hospital for holding me without my consent and I was told that I was going to be released after the call. I missed my court date because of Mercy Scripps Hopital conserning my children. Every time I go to the Mercy Hospital or UCSD Hospital for a physical problem they say that I am coming their because I attempted suicide and calm I was hearing voices. This is not the case I was transported to San Diego County Mental Hospital without my consent. I was assaulted by my Husband Emmett Craig Rambo in which I was hospitalize on February the 1st 2009 and when I had problems from the beaten because he beat me in the head with his head and fist, and forearm: knowing that I suffer from migraine headaches and I had to be tested for seizures. When I go to Mercy Scripps Hospital or UCSD Hospital they ask me questions about if I want to take a Pysic Evaluation which will place me in the mental ward or the County Mental Hospital. I tell the staff each time I come in I am hear for physical reason and not mental health reasons and I do not which to take part in any research or mental testing. My children was taken from me because of Mercy Scripps Hospital Staff. I was told by an attorney that me being homeless was not a reason for my children to be take nor was the past situation with my ex a reason for my children to be taken. I just found out that I can make a complaint against Mercy Scripps Hospital for unlawful detainer according to a assistant at a mal-practice attorney office. I know that this took place February 13, 2005 in which my children was take and I was placed in the mental ward of Mercy Scripps Hospital. Please, help in any way you can because this has effected me getting a job medical field in which I was a CNA and a CPR Instructor for the America Heart Association. I can not get a job as a armed guard in which I was commissioned in New Orleans, LA to carry a gun. I also can not get the proper medical treatment because each visit is looked at a a mental condition instead of a physical problem I am having.
