Jim, I listened to the comments of Juan Hernandez. He’s just a garden variety open borders Atzlanista who wants his nation to piggyback out of its current malaise on the USA’s back. McCain’s “Hispanic Outreach Director”, Juan Hernandez, had a similar job with Mexico’s President Vicente Fox. Hernandez is a U.S.-born dual citizen, who when he worked for Fox, said of Mexican Americans on Nightline on June 7, 2001, “I want the third generation, the seventh generation, I want them all to think ‘Mexico first.”And McCain seems happy to just grovel along in concert with Senator Teddyboy, Hillary, Obama & Senator Feinstein. How scary, of the four leading presidential candidates, Hillary, Obama, McCain, & Romney, only the latter won’t sell us down the river regarding illegal immigration.
Regarding McCain, who incessantly boasts about being a “tough guy” about national security, he remarked only last year, "I think the fence is least effective. But I'll build the goddamned fence if they want it." In 2006, McCain said, “My presidential ambitions pale in comparison to most important issue, nation's security.”
In spite of all this, we still can’t call ourselves safe when we don't know who is entering the country. If millions of penniless illegal immigrants can walk across our borders annually, why can’t well-trained & financed terrorists do the same? Five years + after 9-11, both the Administration & Congress continue to ignore this ticking-time-bomb. If tough guy McCain were serious about nation security he would have long ago beat the drums to build the fence, instead of taking its funding away last fall via his vote on the Omnibus bill.
